Team Lead - Data & Integration (Snowflake)

Role Overview:

You will lead and directly supervise a team of 8 engineers within IT Enterprise Applications, ensuring robust delivery of integration and data platform services. You coach and develop team members, drive engineering quality, and translate strategic data objectives into day-to-day execution using Scrum best practices. You are the primary point of accountability for your team's output, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement across the integration and data estate. You work in close partnership with the DevOps, Architecture, and peer application Team Leads — this is a highly collaborative role that sits at the centre of the ITEA delivery model. The Data & Integrations team owns and operates the following core platforms:

• Snowflake – enterprise cloud data warehouse and data lake platform

• MySQL – relational database services supporting operational workloads

• Boomi – primary iPaaS integration platform; the strategic direction for all integration workloads going forward

• Talend – current ETL/ELT pipeline tooling; actively being migrated onto Boomi as part of a platform consolidation programme

• Power BI – business intelligence and reporting platform, consuming data from the Snowflake layer

The successful candidate will play an active role in driving the Talend-to-Boomi migration, working alongside Architecture and DevOps to deliver a consolidated, lower-complexity integration estate.
