Tracking Private Equity funds partner's capital account statements and reconciling them with the accounting system
Reconciling bank statements and capital activities for individual investors
Reviewing private equity deliverables prepared by team members
Performing quality assurance checks on information received from internal supporting functions
Carrying out complex transactions related to PE Fund activities such as capital calls, distributions, and investment purchases
Reviewing and signing off on quarterly reports and daily reconciliations
Identifying efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and enhance process robustness
Reporting operational issues to the manager
Assisting in training and coaching new team members
Leading or participating in new technology and efficiency initiatives/projects
Qualifications required for this role include:
Qualified CA's with article ship experience or CMA's with 2 years of work experience
4.5+ years of relevant PE/FR/FA experience
24 months as a Senior Analyst to move as a Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultant
You should have a strong understanding of the Private Equity fund structure, General partners, and Limited partners, along with good accounting and financial reporting knowledge. Demonstrating strong operations knowledge, including secondary review & controls, risks & mitigation, will be essential. Additionally, excellent spoken and written English skills are required for business correspondence.
