As the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manager at SEA N ROCK HOTEL in Thane near Ghodbundar road, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all MEP systems' design, implementation, installation, and commissioning during construction or renovation. You will ensure compliance with safety and building codes, manage vendor contracts, and optimize energy consumption for operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing MEP design, installation, and testing from inception to handover. - Managing the physical plant, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems. - Distributing preventive maintenance and repair work orders, and monitoring timeliness and quality of completion. - Directing the maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants, property vehicles, and recreational facilities. - Developing a long-term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection, and overseeing its execution. - Conducting inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure guest satisfaction. - Recommending or arranging additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and replacement of furnishings and equipment. - Selecting, ordering, or purchasing new equipment, supplies, and furnishings. - Ensuring all systems meet local authority regulations, fire safety standards, and brand requirements. - Developing preventative maintenance plans for guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment. - Collaborating with architects, consultants, and subcontractors, managing bids and contracts. - Monitoring expenses, conducting rate analysis, and handling billing. Qualifications and Skills required for this role:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - Proven experience in hotel construction or hospitality project management. - Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and power distribution systems.
