As an experienced Accounts Manager with a strong background in manufacturing accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, cost control, and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. - Maintaining and monitoring cost accounting systems, including raw material consumption, production costs, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and finished goods valuation. - Preparing and reviewing financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/annual financial reports. - Analyzing production costs, variances, and inventory movements to support cost control and decision-making. - Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations like GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable laws. - Handling inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and coordination with stores and production teams. - Coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments. - Monitoring and managing cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning related to procurement and production cycles. - Reviewing vendor payments, purchase entries, reconciliations, and ledger balances. - Implementing and maintaining internal controls and financial procedures, particularly for inventory and production processes. - Supervising and guiding the accounts team to ensure efficient operations. - Supporting management in cost reduction, pricing decisions, and profitability improvement. - Ensuring timely filing of statutory returns and financial documentation. Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred). - 10+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance. - Experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and production accounting. - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / ERP systems) and MS Excel. - Experience with ERP systems used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an added advantage. - Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
