Portfolio Management Analyst - US Direct Lending

As an Analyst in Portfolio Management for Ares US Direct Lending Group, your primary role will involve supporting the monitoring of corporate debt and equity investments. Your responsibilities will include:
• Core responsibility for monitoring corporate debt and equity investments
• Providing assistance to deal teams with assigned investments and general portfolio management, including quarterly valuation and reporting
• Supporting potential restructuring with detailed Excel financial models, cash flow analysis, and related capital structure restructuring analysis
• Communicating with portfolio company management
• Utilizing firms proprietary software tools for company tracking
• Performing and helping manage mark-to-market quarter-end valuations and process
• Analyzing portfolio trends, market leverage, and price development
• Supporting Ares' ongoing fund-raising and existing investor relationship efforts
• Maintaining and developing Ares investment track record
• Assisting in investors' presentations and queries
• Providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

• 0 - 3 years of relevant investment banking, fund, advisor experience, credit analysis, or valuation
