Senior Backend Engineer, Deliveries & Orders (f/m/x)

Strong background in backend development of highly-available event-driven (Kafka) distributed systems with rich integrations. - Meaningful experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as part of a regular workflow. This includes using AI agents as thought partners to navigate codebases and understanding how task framing affects result quality. - Proven ability to build architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka and AWS SQS/SNS and expose data via future-proof REST API and gRPC interfaces. - Proficiency with Golang; a willingness to learn Kotlin is also welcome. - Practical knowledge of Docker, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation. - Deep understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL; knowledge of MongoDB and/or GraphQL is a plus. - Solid foundation in testing practices, including both unit and end-to-end testing.
