As a Sr. UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in owning and executing design work for our core product experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to craft intuitive, visually polished, and high-quality user experiences. Your strong command of both UI craft and UX thinking will allow you to design experiences that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also user-friendly. Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end design for assigned product areas, starting from initial discovery and research through wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and final handoff to engineering. - Design visually compelling interfaces with a high standard of visual craft, including typography, color, iconography, spacing, and layout. - Design and document all UI states to ensure a complete and consistent user experience. - Create intuitive user flows and information architecture to simplify complex features. - Build interactive prototypes to communicate interaction behavior and transitions. - Conduct user research to validate design decisions and identify pain points. - Contribute to the product design system by creating reusable components and maintaining visual consistency. - Collaborate closely with engineers during implementation to ensure design integrity. - Work with product managers to translate requirements into clear design solutions. - Present and explain design work to cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback. - Stay updated with UI/UX trends, design tooling, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team. Requirements:
4-6 years of product design experience, with exposure to SaaS products. - Strong UI design skills with a focus on visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, and layout. - Proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, components, variants, and prototyping. - Solid UX fundamentals, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and usability testing. - Experience in designing complex SaaS interfaces, dashboards, data-heavy screens, multi-step flows, or AI-driven products. - A well-rounded portfolio showcasing visual craft and UX thinking. - Understanding of interaction design principles, micro-interactions, motion, and responsive behavior. - Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale and receive feedback constructively. - Basic data fluency to interpret product analytics and use qualitative research for decision-making. - Ability to work independently and drive a design from concept to handoff effectively.
