Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic HR business partner to India-based leaders and managers, advising on talent planning, performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. - Lead People operations and compliance for the India region, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and practices while maintaining consistency with global policies. - Drive cultural initiatives and programs that foster inclusion, engagement, and belonging within the Pune office and across the global team. - Design and implement tailored onboarding programs for the India office reflecting local culture and HackerOne's values. - Support compensation and benefits implementation, employee lifecycle processes, and act as a local escalation point for complex employee relations matters. - Collaborate with the India-based recruiter to ensure a seamless talent experience, including headcount planning, onboarding, and internal mobility. - Serve as the Pune site manager, ensuring the office environment reflects HackerOne's culture, supporting local events, and representing the site in cross-functional forums. Qualifications Required:
10 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, global tech environment, including experience managing a regional HR function. - Strong knowledge of Indian labor law, employment practices, and HR operations. - Proven success as a strategic business partner with executive leaders and scaling organizational practices. - Deep expertise in at least two HR disciplines. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust across time zones and cultures. - Passion for building an inclusive and engaging employee experience. - Fluency in English required. - Prior experience serving as a site or office lead is a plus.
