You will be responsible for analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks, designing and implementing process enhancements, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities:
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. - Design, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and yield. - Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. - Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D. - Oversee the implementation of new equipment and technologies on the production floor. - Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven solutions. - Train production staff on new processes and best practices. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment. - Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement tools. - Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control. - Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong project management and organizational abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience in the automotive, electronics, or consumer goods manufacturing sector is a plus.
