As a candidate for this position, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
Participating in meetings with users, project managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or expand applications that accomplish business operations of assigned work unit(s). - Understanding systems, data flows, and architecture to assist with the creation and/or standardization of technology solutions. - Having a strong understanding of Data Lineage and Source to target mapping. - Creating, designing, and formatting technical specification documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, and other information or processes needed to describe required system changes for development, QA, and other internal customers. - Developing complex and clear technical solution requirements and specifications for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Articulating technology solutions and requirements to diverse internal/external stakeholders, integrating processes, business rules, and data to meet business needs. - Being data-driven and results-oriented with the ability to quickly analyze data and make decisions that drive performance. - Possessing strong SQL and Excel skills. - Performing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner. - Translating business requirements and collaborating with the Engineering team in prototyping for further refinement of requirements. - Facilitating the general workflow and directing the project's day-to-day tasks to ensure all documentation is updated and complete. - Working closely with the Engineering team to ensure the projects are extremely organized. - Working independently with various teams within the group, prioritizing tasks, and being able to raise issues appropriately for management action. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders on high visibility projects. Qualifications required for this position include:
5+ years of Business Analysis experience. - Prior demonstrated experience with business analysis, requirements, and data gathering. - Proven experience liaising with business teams and working with business processes to fulfill customer needs in a timely and effective manner. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to determine issues and resolutions, and must be organized. - Strong desire to elicit, simplify, organize, and manage requirements. - Working experience in projects which used HANA Data warehouse, Informatica, SAP Oracle DB. - Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills. - Experience in writing Business Requirements, and Field Mapping documents to expose data elements for reporting purposes. - Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and projects, being able to multitask and manage time well. - Must possess a business operations mindset to ensure the requisite process steps are followed to accomplish business tasks. - Database knowledge and experience with database query tools and languages.
