As a Construction Planner & Design Coordinator at our US-based construction company, your role will involve preparing construction and design plans, managing online project workflows, and coordinating with both US-based stakeholders and on-site teams. Your strong technical skills, communication abilities, and flexibility to work across different time zones will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed construction drawings and design plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software. - Interpret architectural and engineering designs according to US standards and codes. - Coordinate daily with US project managers, architects, and site teams. - Manage online project activities including documentation, reporting, and scheduling. - Track project progress and ensure timelines are met. - Conduct virtual meetings and provide regular updates. - Assist in resolving design and construction-related issues. - Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with project requirements. Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in construction planning, drafting, or coordination. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design tools. - Strong understanding of construction methods and drawings. - Good spoken and written English communication skills. - Ability to work in overlapping US time zones when required. Preferred Skills:
Experience working with international (US) clients or projects. - Knowledge of US building codes and standards. - Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar platforms. In this role, you will have flexible hours aligned partially with US time zones, allowing you to effectively collaborate with the US team and contribute to the success of our construction projects.
