ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Conduct background investigations of gaming employees and vendor applicants
- Verify employment, education, criminal history, civil records, and references
- Conduct court record searches and financial background checks when required
- Prepare written investigative summaries and supporting documentation
- Assist with applicant fingerprinting and Live Scan submissions
- Maintain investigative files and licensing records
- Communicate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to obtain records
- Ensure investigations comply with Tribal Gaming Commission Regulations, IGRA, and applicable federal requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 0–2 years investigative, regulatory, administrative, or law enforcement support experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field preferred
