As a Manager in the Balance Sheet and Management (BSM) division at Bank of America, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate forecasts of the balance sheet and net interest income (NII) to executive management. Your responsibilities will include managing balance sheets, balancing risk, stabilizing returns, and collaborating with various teams to support critical processes and strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide forecast analysis and summarize results related to net interest income and balance sheet. - Assist in executing additional routines, such as report building, testing, and implementing new reporting requirements. - Collaborate with global teams to deliver efficient, well-controlled, and timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders. - Communicate effectively when presenting results and escalating issues. - Work with technology teams to resolve data issues and implement new system capabilities. - Continuously improve processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for leveraging emerging technology to enhance efficiency and controls. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Quantitative, or Economics. - 5 to 8 years of experience in a relevant role in a financial institution. - Strong understanding of the balance sheet and income statement, preferably in a banking setting. - Experience with banking products and basic interest rate risk principles. - Proven track record of clear and concise verbal and written communication. - Intellectual curiosity and ability to ask questions for rapid learning. - Self-starter with proactive and well-organized work approach. - Flexibility to join meetings during EMEA and APAC time zone hours. - Technical skills in SQL, VBA, Tableau, Alteryx, Python (advantageous). - Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities. - Working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel functions. - Experience in improving and automating manual processes. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
