As a candidate for the position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 57 years of experience in production support or IT operations. Experience with POS (Point of Sale) and GK POS is highly desirable, particularly in the retail/QSR/restaurant domain. Key Responsibilities:
Strong troubleshooting skills in Java-based applications and databases. - Hands-on experience in POS (Point of Sale), GK POS, with a focus on retail/QSR/restaurant domain knowledge. - Familiarity with monitoring/analytical tools such as Splunk and AWS CloudWatch. - Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and/or JIRA. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Flexibility for second shift (2 PM to 11 PM) and rotational on-call support. - Hands-on Java development experience with OOPS concepts and Spring Boot. - Proficiency with microservices, including REST and SOAP-based services. - Version control experience using Git and GitHub. - Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
