As a candidate working extensively in network infrastructure management, you will be responsible for handling predominantly Cisco hardware and software products. Your role will involve designing, supporting, and deploying these products. Additionally, you should have knowledge and experience in managing Proxy infrastructure and Checkpoint appliances. You will collaborate with the IT support team to ensure maximum performance of a high-traffic network infrastructure while maintaining system integrity. Your key responsibilities will include:
Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT network infrastructure
Experience and knowledge of Cisco routing and switching
Installing, maintaining, and configuring Cisco devices like ASA, Firepower, IPS, routers, switches, and Cisco AnyConnect
Setting up Proxy and managing Checkpoint firewall
Ensuring IT security compliance by conducting audits, maintaining network security, applying security patches, reviewing audit logs, and updating security guidelines
Monitoring network performance, assessing business requirements, and recommending network planning and upgrades
Planning for upgrading or replacing hardware and software in the network In terms of technical requirements, you should be familiar with ITIL practices for capacity management, change management, vendor management, incident management, and disaster recovery operations. You should be available for 24x7 support, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be capable of creating networking reports and accurate network diagrams. Qualifications required for this role include:
Bachelor's degree in network administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field
4-5 years of experience in the field
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification Preferred skills for this position include TIG-Standard and TIG certifications.
