About this role: Responsible for the design and delivery of Power related projects and providing technical support. This includes contributing to Aggreko energy transition strategy by developing energy efficient applications and promoting low emissions solutions. Your key responsibilities: Design & engineering support: Develop accurate and fit-for-purpose power generation project designs in collaboration with SMEs and Project Engineers, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Aggreko standards. Technical analysis & calculations: Analyse client load profiles, electrical systems and drawings to size power solutions, perform fault level calculations, and conduct MV/HV protection studies for safe and efficient system integration. Project documentation & proposals: Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation (design reports, calculations, single line diagrams, scope of work, specifications) for client submissions, sales proposals, and contractual documentation. Client interaction & cross-functional support: Liaise with clients and internal teams (Sales, Operations), perform site visits, advise on technical solutions, and support ongoing projects with engineering expertise. Compliance, improvement & standards: Ensure adherence to QHSE, legal, and environmental standards, contribute to technical capability development and energy transition initiatives, and capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement and operational excellence. Education & experience: Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in project coordination and electrical system design within power generation environments. Strong technical expertise: Solid background in power generation, including load banks, transformers, MV/LV electrical distribution, electrical diagrams, protection systems and protection calculations. Engineering tools & field exposure: Experience in electrical design using tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan or similar, with preferred hands-on experience in MV/HV commissioning, isolation techniques and switching plans. Project delivery & work environment: Proven ability to manage or contribute to small project deliveries in cross-functional and matrix organisations, working effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments with limited supervision. Soft skills & requirements: Team-oriented, motivated and enthusiastic profile with strong integrity and commercial awareness; English (intermediate level required), driving license (B), and willingness to travel (~25% field activity).
