Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Business Analyst with strong process improvement capabilities and a working understanding of IT systems and infrastructure. This role supports federal programs by analyzing business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing optimized solutions that align with both operational and technical environments. The ideal candidate combines Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies with the ability to collaborate effectively with cloud, networking, and application teams. This role is considered remote (DMV area preferred), minimal travel to Ft. Meade, MD
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Clearance
Active or Interim Secret security clearance
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification (preferred)
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives
Strong understanding of IT environments, including cloud platforms and basic networking concepts
Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, and other data or workflow tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal or Department of Defense programs
Familiarity, experience with Agile or SAFe methodologies
Understanding or experience using Jira
