Location: Pune, India Position Overview: We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Digital Product Platform team, where you'll own and evolve the data and API infrastructure that powers our customer-facing products. You'll work across the stack — from designing resilient, high-throughput APIs to building the internal tooling and frontend surfaces that make those systems observable and manageable. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems: who cares deeply about how data flows, where latency hides, and how APIs behave under pressure — and who can also ship clean TypeScript when the moment calls for it. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain APIs and data pipelines that serve our customer-facing products at scale Own services end-to-end, from architecture decisions through deployment and on-call Work with Kubernetes (AKS) to deploy, scale, and operate services reliably in production Contribute to Elixir backend services, leveraging its concurrency model for high-throughput data flows Collaborate with product and data teams to define API contracts and data models Drive platform-wide improvements in reliability, performance, and developer experience Mentor mid-level engineers and participate in technical design reviews Requirements: 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience in fullstack or backend-heavy roles Strong TypeScript skills, with experience building and consuming APIs in production Hands-on experience with Kubernetes — you've deployed, debugged, and scaled services in a k8s environment Experience with Elixir or another functional/concurrent language (Erlang, Haskell, Scala), with genuine interest in the Elixir ecosystem A track record of owning data or API infrastructure in a customer-facing context Comfort operating in a cloud-native environment (Azure preferred, given our AKS usage) Nice to Have Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) Prior work on platform or infrastructure teams How to apply: You may upload your updated profile in Workday against the JR R0091786 through your login, no later than 02nd June 2026 Or Please send your application by registering on our site www.sandvik.com/career and uploading your CV against the JR R0091786 before 02nd June 2026.
