Financial Reporting Analyst

In this role as a Financial Reporting Analyst at Ascend Performance Materials, you will be a part of the Corporate Accounting team, working closely with finance leadership to manage key accounting processes and support audits and financial reporting activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with robust SAP experience who seeks exposure to end-to-end corporate finance operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cash and accounts receivable reporting
• Clear bank and AR accounts
• Prepare SG&A accruals and prepaid accounting
• Process and analyze insurance and other prepaid invoices
• Maintain debt accounting, roll-forwards, and interest accruals
• Perform FX revaluation in SAP
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support audits with schedules and documentation
• Respond to ad-hoc accounting and GL coding requests

Qualifications Required:

• Education: B.Com mandatory; CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred

• Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting

• Strong experience in SAP Please note that the position supports U.S. business hours (approx. 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST) and the job location is Chennai, Taramani. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards, while working closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager in monthly close, reconciliations, and audit support.
