As a Senior Engineering Manager at our company, you will lead a distributed team focused on developing data products and delivering high-quality data to our biopharma customers. Qualifications Required:
10+ years of experience required
6+ years of software engineering tech stack experience & 3+ years of technical leadership or people leadership experience
Strong hands-on development experience with the ability to guide others
Practical DevOps experience with production systems
Solid understanding of software architecture and automation
Experience coaching engineers and providing clear, actionable feedback
Experience working in agile/Scrum environments
Excellent communication skills
Life sciences/healthcare domain experience is a plus In this role, you will be expected to provide clear technical direction across platforms, ensure reliable delivery with early risk visibility, maintain reliable platforms with strong monitoring and incident response practices, implement automation and DevOps practices to improve quality and productivity, support, challenge, and engage engineers, and ensure the team consistently applies strong agile/Scrum practices for healthy flow and predictable delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation for platforms, systems, and team workflows. Collaborate across cross-functional and distributed teams
Support hiring, onboarding, and team mentorship
