Position Overview
Woolpert is hiring an Interior Designer to join our Interiors Discipline supporting our dynamic Healthcare practice. This position reports to the Interiors Discipline Team Leader and is responsible for assisting with the planning, design, and coordination of interior spaces on small to mid‑scale healthcare projects, gaining hands‑on experience with industry‑specific codes, regulatory requirements, and healthcare design standards. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to explore design challenges, develop interior solutions, and translate project goals into functional, welcoming spaces that support patient experience, staff performance, and overall well‑being. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen your technical skills, apply foundational design principles, and grow your understanding of healthcare environments while working alongside experienced designers in a supportive, team‑based setting. What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture or interior design (or equivalent)
3 years of professional experience in interior design or a related field. - Proficiency with design and documentation tools (e.g., Revit, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite) and demonstrated ability to manage project components independently. - Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Interest in pursuing interior design licensure and/or relevant certifications.
