Provide high-quality results and effective solutions while collaborating with senior consultants and managers
Apply problem-solving skills to new and complex situations with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and accuracy
Offer focused solutions and training to staff and senior members
Deliver engagements within specified timelines, aligned with EY's values and commitment to quality
Establish priorities, create work plans, communicate status, and report all chargeable hours
Maintain strong stakeholder focus, developing productive relationships with stakeholders and team members
**Actuarial Practice Tasks:**
Communicate analysis results to actuaries in different regions
Estimate actuarial liabilities for general insurance lines, analyze historical claims data, and perform reserve valuation
Utilize loss projection methods, review data, methodologies, assumptions, and benchmark against the market
Conduct large loss analysis, rating factor analysis, and CAT benchmarking
Engage in risk analytics, develop analytical tools, and analyze insurance risk
Prepare reports and memos showing analysis results
Stay informed of current business and economic developments relevant to the industry
**Required Qualifications:**
Qualified or nearly-qualified actuary with at least 8+ years' experience in the general insurance industry
Experience in consulting, insurer, or insurance services organization
Ability to multitask, maintain a flexible work attitude, and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, VBA, SAS, R, Python, SQL, SPSS, etc. **Preferred Qualifications:**
Strong academic background with a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Capacity to review junior work, ensuring quality under time-sensitive deadlines
Overseas experience, especially in Australia, UK, US, or European markets
