Purpose: The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of server infrastructure within the Operational Technology (OT) environment. Reporting to the Manager, Network & OT Infrastructure, this role ensures the reliability, security, and availability of critical systems that support safe and efficient oil and gas operations. Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and support Windows server infrastructure within the Operational Technology (OT) environment, ensuring high availability and reliable operation of critical systems. Monitor server health, performance, capacity, and system events; proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize operational impact and unplanned downtime. Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management in accordance with established standards and change management processes. Support virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and related infrastructure services required to maintain OT operations. Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, service requests, and system problems, providing timely support to operational and business stakeholders. Implement and maintain security controls, vulnerability remediation activities, and system hardening measures in alignment with cybersecurity policies and OT security requirements. Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, operational procedures, system configurations, and disaster recovery information. Collaborate with Network, Cybersecurity, Automation, Support and Infrastructure teams on projects, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the reliability, security, and performance of OT infrastructure. Requirements: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a timely and methodical manner. Understanding of cybersecurity principles, system hardening, vulnerability management and best practices with critical infrastructure or operational environments. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams, manage competing priorities, and provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer. Experience deploying, maintaining, and administrating bare-metal servers, with a focus on virtual platforms/hypervisors; preference for candidates with Nutanix AHV experience. Working knowledge of server networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, virtual networking, network segmentation, and troubleshooting connectivity issues across enterprise environments. Meticulous attention to detail and strong awareness of risks involved with decisions made is critical for this position; employee safety and company revenue can be impacted.
