The role
As a Product Designer at Cabify, you’ll work within the Technology area, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Research to design experiences that create real impact for the people who use our products and for the company’s goals. Your work will involve understanding complex problems, spotting opportunities, designing clear solutions and bringing them all the way to implementation together with technical teams. We expect you to combine product thinking, design craft, user empathy and business understanding to build solutions that are simple, useful and well executed. The day-to-day life of a Product Designer at Cabify brings together exploration, definition, design, validation and collaboration. You’ll work with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, User Researchers and other designers to turn real needs into experiences that improve mobility in our cities. You’ll also be an active part of the design team, contributing to critiques, glues and Design Meetings, sharing learnings, systematising solutions and helping raise the quality of design across the Cabify ecosystem. ## What we’re looking for
If you’re interested, we think you could be a great fit if you have:
- Strong alignment with our principles. - Interest in a hybrid working model, with 3 days a week from our Madrid office and 2 days working remotely. On top of that, we offer 6 weeks a year to work fully remotely, split into 3 weeks per semester. - The ability to connect features and initiatives, balancing quick wins with more complete experience redesigns. - A mindset for designing proposals that move our metrics in the right direction. - Interest in understanding technology, because it helps us design simpler and more effective solutions. - Curiosity for new tools, processes and ways of designing, especially around AI-driven workflows and new automation capabilities. At Cabify, we provide the space, tools and resources — including access to models and tokens — so the team can explore, learn and create real impact in their work. - A research mindset that helps you make better-informed decisions. - Strong interaction design skills to help people complete tasks in a simple and intuitive way through well-designed interfaces. - The ability to create visual experiences that are not only useful, but also build emotion and connection with our users, shape perception and influence behaviour, ultimately contributing to the business. - Clear and concise communication skills in both English and Spanish language, with the ability to explain design decisions, connect different perspectives and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical disciplines. - The ability to create proposals, documentation and design deliverables that help teams make better decisions, stay aligned and contribute clearly to the company’s strategy. - And most importantly, a humble attitude, motivation to work with a passionate team, and the ability to receive feedback and think critically about your own work.
