Key Responsibilities:
Architecture, Design & Engineering Excellence:
Architect and build highperformance, scalable, low-latency applications using modern design patterns such as microservices, eventdriven, domaindriven design, streaming, and batch. - Ensure strict adherence to banking and enterprise technology standards including security, privacy, compliance, resilience, availability, disaster recovery, auditability, logging, and traceability. - Apply industrystandard software design patterns, clean architecture principles, and SOLID design practices across all layers. - Continuously evaluate and adopt fastperforming, modern technologies to improve throughput, scalability, cost efficiency, and developer productivity. - Data Engineering, Quality & Performance Focus:
Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloudnative services. - Establish strong data quality frameworks including data validation, reconciliation, monitoring SLAs, and anomaly detection. - Optimize Spark jobs, storage strategies, and compute resources for highperformance data processing. - Drive best practices in data governance, metadata management, and lineage. - AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement:
Design platforms to support AI/ML use cases including data preparation, model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines. - Integrate AI/ML models into applications and business workflows. - Promote adoption of latest AI technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns in alignment with enterprise standards. - Collaborate with data science and product teams to translate AI concepts into productionready solutions. - Technology Modernization & Innovation:
Stay current with the latest technology trends across Java ecosystems, cloud platforms, data engineering, and AI/ML. - Drive modernization initiatives to replace legacy patterns with cloudnative, scalable, and futureready architectures. - Balance innovation with risk management and regulatory expectations typical of banking environments. Qualification Required:
Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for enterprisegrade backend development. - Handson experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and largescale data processing. - Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, cloud security, and cloudnative architectures. - Experience leading teams in regulated or enterprise technology environments, preferably in banking. - Proven ability to make architectural and technology decisions aligned with risk, compliance, and performance needs. - Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to senior and nontechnical stakeholders.
