Functional QA Test Engineer

You will be joining the Single Sign-On Services Engineering team in Pune as a Functional QA Test Engineer - AVP. Your role will involve leading the functional testing efforts for critical applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery through structured test planning, execution, and defect management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements, drive test automation, and enhance product quality in agile environments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design, development, and execution of functional test cases for web applications and APIs
• Validating business logic, user flows, and system integrations across various environments
• Performing manual and automated testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of new features and regression scenarios
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure testability
• Identifying, documenting, and managing defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent
• Driving test strategy, including risk-based testing, test data management, and automation integration
• Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement
• Mentoring junior QA engineers and supporting onboarding of new team members
• Ensuring compliance with accessibility, security, and performance standards

Your skills and experience should include:

• 5+ years of experience in functional testing of enterprise-grade applications
