**Job Description**
**Role Overview**
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer at Evernorth, you will collaborate with Project and App development teams to devise strategies for Automation Testing and provide guidance to the Automation Testing team. Your role will involve architecting and implementing test automation frameworks, evaluating existing frameworks, and developing automation test scripts to enhance testing coverage and reduce test cycle time. Additionally, you will work on creating data portability functions, test suites for GUI Front End and Database backend, and collaborating closely with onsite and offshore team members. **Key Responsibilities**
Architect, design, and implement test automation frameworks
Evaluate existing automation framework and provide solutions for building end-to-end regression suite
Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts
Define test data conditions and collaborate with the Data team
Engage in defect reporting and triaging
Develop smoke, functional, and regression test suites
Document and monitor software problems
Recommend strategies to enhance test plans and processes
Maintain records of test results and perform historical analysis
Interact closely with onsite and offshore team members
**Qualifications**
4-5 years of experience in test automation testing
Proficiency in testing web applications and web services using technologies like .NET, C#, JAVA, Rest, XML, JSON, JQuery
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver/IDE/Grid
Knowledge of building continuous integration, continuous development, and deployment pipeline
Familiarity with cloud and container solutions, Virtual Machines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code frameworks
Strong analytical and communication skills
Understanding of STLC/SDLC and Agile testing methodologies
Healthcare background is a plus
