Key Responsibilities:

Leverage the principles of database resilience engineering to ensure the stability, security, performance, and scalability of Snowflake systems and services. - Ensure product success through the strategic use of technologies such as Snowflake, AWS S3, and Oracle Golden Gate. - Develop software-based, automated solutions to core business problems. - Design and implement software services that support Infrastructure-as-Code principles. - Document processes related to database design, configuration, and performance. - Ability to document project work and produce Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for the priority issues. - Mentor database administrators and provide them with technical support. - Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals. Qualifications Required:

6 years of experience building, scaling, and supporting highly available systems and services. - Expertise in the delivery, maintenance, and support of Snowflake databases. - Experience with AWS S3. - Deep understanding of relational database design and SQL. - Experience with Oracle tools, utilities, Oracle version upgrades, migrations, and patching. - Strong knowledge and working experience in RAC, GoldenGate, and DataGuard. - Experience in Automation frameworks like Ansible/Puppet is a plus. - Experience with Oracle Golden Gate is a plus. - Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language preferred (Python, Ansible). - Expertise in promoting and driving system visibility to aid in the rapid detection and resolution of issues. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
