As a Quality Assurance Analyst at AB, you will be responsible for managing the testing program for the Business Process Management team in an agile and dynamic environment. Your role will include developing a testing strategy, managing a testing team, supervising test automation, and ensuring the quality delivery of projects. You will work closely with business partners, business analysts, and systems developers to create effective test plans and cases. Your ability to adapt to traditional QA best practices and agile methodology will be crucial in this role. **Key Responsibilities:**
Analyze complex functional requirements, perform research on current processes, design test strategy, and author comprehensive test plans and scripts
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and business partners to understand and analyze business requirements
Manage an offshore QA team for test case development and regression testing
Review and validate system data and product quality to ensure integrity
Develop, review, and document plans for automated and manual functional, integration, and regression tests
Execute functional, compatibility, and regression tests across various environments
Identify, report, and manage defects
Provide support for smoke testing of production releases after regular business hours
Communicate accurate testing status to leadership and project teams
Act as an advocate for the end-user experience
**Qualifications:**
BS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Economics, or related major
7 years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong fundamentals
Experience in functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and API testing
Experience in testing complex enterprise applications with multiple integrations
Experience in testing complex reports and/or Salesforce
Experience with financial systems/data is preferred
Experience in leading testing projects for complex systems
Ability to formulate testing strategies with limited documentation
Keen understanding of SDLC
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, self-starter, and team player
Ability to work in an agile environment with minimal supervision
