Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will have the opportunity to lead at a senior technical level in a regionally recognized technical discipline with a Solutions Area, delivering innovative solutions that provide superior value to Clients. Your role will involve working closely across various lead regions and counterparts to lead major/critical projects from a technical standpoint. You will provide technical leadership in Sales, collaborate with Sales, and actively participate in Client engagement and business development opportunities. Your responsibilities will also include assuring the quality of technical outputs, identifying, managing, and mitigating technical risks, collaborating with the Technical Director cohort, and ensuring adequate controls are applied to technical risks in both Sales and Project Delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Lead major/critical projects from a technical standpoint
Provide technical leadership in Sales and actively participate in Client engagement
Assure the quality of technical outputs through the appointment of suitably qualified Technical Leaders
Develop and maintain the framework of various technical leaders to suit evolving needs
Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk exposure to the business
Collaborate with the Technical Director cohort to bring the best of Jacobs to every opportunity and project
Maintain a sound understanding of International Plumbing Codes, Saudi Building Codes, NFPA, and relevant Indian Standards
Possess in-depth knowledge of LEED standards on green buildings and energy savings
Lead a team to complete tasks within established project schedule and budget constraints
Have good communication and presentation skills, excellent report writing skills
Interact with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members on specifications, estimates, and contractual issues
Prepare budgets, schedules, project status reports, and technical bid analysis reports
Conduct vendor document review
