As a Senior Engineer at Talworx, you will be an integral part of the 24/7 IT backup operations team, directly responsible for backup-related processes. Your role will involve taking a leadership position with customer and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain managed Commvault operations, and restore systems to operational status when needed. Communication between technical teams, customers, and internal organizations to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction will be a key aspect of your job. Your specific responsibilities will include:

Maintaining complex Backup Solutions involving Virtual libraries, Disk to Disk Backup systems, physical Tape Libraries, OS, Backup Software, Switch, SAN, or Library components. - Supporting and troubleshooting backup, recovery, and archiving in a large, complex, and widely distributed environment. - Analyzing daily backup failures, identifying root causes, and systematically resolving issues to achieve close to a 100% Backup success rate. - Providing status and progress reports for backup environment-related activities on a regular basis. - Planning and implementing best practices for backup solutions. - Ensuring adequate storage capacity is available through proactive measures. - Creating and updating documentation for backup procedures, solutions, licensing, and project artifacts. - Performing configuration changes as per design and build. - Upgrading backup software across different versions and regular patching in the backup environment. Qualifications Required:

At least 5 years of Enterprise Backup Commvault troubleshooting or Administration experience. - Network fundamental Concepts of Enterprise Backup solution. - Understanding of Tape rotation and Tape management on Physical Tap Libraries in Backup environment. - D2d and/or Physical Library Backup Products knowledge. - At least one Operating system experience.
