Principal Technical Architect

Job Description: Position Summary: Ingram Micro is seeking an experienced Principal/Technical Architect to play an integral role in delivering business-led, technology-enabled transformation on the Global Platform Technology organization. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the work being done by other software engineers working on the project as well as the underlying architecture for the software program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the technical roadmap and support the successful launch of complex products. You will partner with management to help prioritize building the best features our customers need. Your Role: Define and develop high-level architectural and business solutions for complex distributed systems. Understanding business needs and translate them into working solutions. Lead technical decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to build scalable and maintainable systems. Establish best practices, standards, and technical guidelines. Create and maintain technical roadmaps that align with business strategy. Identify and mitigate risks in technology adoption and implementation. Ensure the successful deployment of complex products, focusing on reliability, performance, and security. Provide mentorship to engineers and assist in technical problem-solving. Provide key ownership for specific Finance processes and supports the Finance Lead in definition and deployment of SAP Global Template for Finance processes Accountable for complete life cycle from business requirements to design, through functional solution delivery in production. What you bring to the role: A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software engineering, preferably with strong experience building and supporting highly available distributed systems. At least 2 years of experience in recurring business models and related technologies. At least 3 years of experience in a similar Technical Architect role. Proven track record of successfully launching complex products in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated experience working in a technology-driven organization with an understanding of project lifecycle, gathering requirements, and system analysis. Ability to effectively participate, lead, and direct discussions and meetings with stakeholders. Strong research, analytical and organizational skills with ability to summarize information Ability to effectively communicate complex solutions in business terms. Strong presentation skills including ability to speak and present solutions to peers, leaders and executives. Effective written communication and documentation skills. Strong process knowledge of the many areas of Recurring Business Models, Finance and distribution industry experience is a plus. With us, you'll make technology happen in surprising ways.
