As the Vice President of Product Engineering at our company in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in driving the end-to-end engineering strategy and delivery of our product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include leading engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, and operations to ensure the creation of high-quality, scalable, and secure products. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full engineering lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and security of products. - Collaborate with Product Management to translate product vision into engineering plans. - Develop and mentor a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. - Implement industry-standard methodologies and optimize engineering processes for predictability and faster time-to-market. - Evaluate and modernize technology stacks, tools, and cloud infrastructure while driving innovation initiatives. - Work with security teams to ensure products meet compliance requirements and build secure-by-design engineering frameworks. - Collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional leaders to present engineering roadmap and ensure customer-centric releases. Qualifications Required:
12+ years of software engineering experience. - 6+ years of experience leading engineering or product engineering teams. - Strong technical background in cloud, API, DevOps, and distributed systems. - Proven success in delivering enterprise-grade software at scale. - Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills. The company prefers candidates with experience in regulated industries, knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, and experience in modernizing architecture and scaling engineering teams.
