Assistant for event management and strategic initiatives (maternity Cover) For our School in Rome we are seeking an Event Management and Strategic Initiatives Assistant for maternity cover. The selected person will report to the School Director and will offer support for NABA events, ensuring alignment with the school's strategic objectives. The role supports the implementation of non-academic initiatives, provides administrative support for budget management, supports operational execution, and ensures coherence with the school's institutional priorities. Tutoring of INPS courses for public administration employees. Key Responsibilities of the role Event management Support for institutional and on campus events Whenever needed support the School Director, the Head of Enrollment and the Career Services and Customer Engagement Manager with events Support for logistics and technical coordination Academic and non-academic initiatives Support the School Director and the NABA team in developing academic and non-academic initiatives, such as NABA chats, courses for Italian public administration, summer camp for 15-18 students, and other strategic initiatives to enhance NABA Rome campus visibility Administrative support for budget management Offer administrative support to school director, Head of education and Course leaders; Insert expenses in docsweb for approval. Requirements Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Event Management, Communication, Marketing or related fields Previous experience in event coordination, administrative support, or similar roles (experience in education or cultural institutions is a plus) Strong organisational and multitasking skills Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders Fluent knowledge of Italian and English is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (DocsWeb knowledge is a plus) Proactive, flexible, and problem-solving attitude Contract: Maternity leave cover Workplace: Rome (Via Ostiense 92) Working hours: 30–38 hours per week, tbd Compensation range: 21.000 - 24.000 € (for full-time) If you are motivated by results, enjoy working in an international academic environment, and want to contribute directly to the development of campus initiatives and institutional activities, we would be happy to receive your application.
