The AWS Hardware Engineering team drives system innovation in the servers used by all of Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, EBS and CloudFront. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. What you will do: You will own next-generation CPU and Memory components used in servers across AWS. You will interact with internal and external interdisciplinary teams of engineers to design, develop, validate, launch, monitor and troubleshoot at large scale. You’ll provide leadership in the application of new technologies to servers in a continuous effort to deliver and improve a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position. You will work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. You have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with.
