Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

Dark Wolf is looking for a Cybersecurity****Systems Engineer to join a collaborative, dynamic team in a fast-paced, innovative mission environment. This position will work hand-in-hand with the customer team as well as external satellite software development contractors. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, as well as experience in software development, security engineering, risk management, and compliance. This position is located in either Herndon, VA or Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting technical evaluations of information systems design, containerized applications, and cloud architecture, ensuring security and operational requirements are mapped directly into the System/Enterprise Architecture. - Performing vulnerability assessments and architectural risk analysis using automated software and container scanning tools, tracing security controls back to system models. - Reviewing requests for software installation and conduct technical risk assessments on software implementation, validating changes against the established enterprise baseline. - Coordinating and tracking security action requests and report status to senior managers, utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to visualize impacts on the overall system lifecycle. - Analyzing, modifying when necessary, and maintaining the client’s certification to field security approvals by translating complex compliance requirements into architectural models using frameworks such as DODAF, UAF, or TOGAF. - Conducting and analyzing auditing requirements continuously, ensuring the physical implementation of the DevSecOps pipeline aligns with the digital twin and authoritative system designs. - Developing and maintaining system models and architectural diagrams utilizing industry-standard tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture and Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect. ### Required Qualifications:
