Job Description Summary At GE Vernova, we are driving an enterprise-wide transformation to reimagine how our industrial business operates by embedding an AI-first approach across all enterprise processes. As the Platform Owner for PowerNow 2.0 within the Quality domain, you will provide critical technical leadership at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and change management. In this role, you will help ensure the seamless, timely, and high-quality deployment of process introduction and enhancements leveraging automation capabilities including AI to strengthen and enable business operations. Job Description PowerNow is a ServiceNow SaaS platform and one of the top 20 critical applications used across GEV. Built on top of our existing data and systems, it enables employees to orchestrate and automate enterprise tasks through configurable low-code tools. As the Platform Owner for PowerNow, you will lead the technical architecture, design, and implementation strategy that will establish the foundation for the long-term success of PowerNow 2.0 beyond the transformation program, supporting the Power business across Quality, Engineering, Sourcing and other functions. This role requires making forward-looking, future-proof technical decisions that deliver the desired business outcomes. This is a business-critical, highly visible technical leadership role that requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture, platform maintenance, business and digital transformation, process optimization through LEAN, workflow automation including RPA, predictive intelligence and GenAI, as well as data modelling and integration using ServiceNow technology. Roles and Responsibilities In this role you will: 1. Define the platform vision and technical roadmap · Set the long-term direction for the platform working closely with functional owner · Align platform capabilities with business strategy and enterprise architecture principles · Prioritize future enhancements based on business value, risk, and technical sustainability 2. Own the architecture strategy · Establish target-state architecture for the platform · Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and supportable · Make future-proof technology choices that fit enterprise standards · Ensure the platform integrates cleanly with surrounding systems and data architecture 3. Govern design and implementation · Review and approve architecture/design decisions · Ensure implementations follow enterprise architecture standards and patterns · Balance speed of delivery with technical integrity and long-term maintainability · Prevent fragmentation, duplication, or technical debt 4. Lead platform lifecycle management · Own platform health, reliability, upgrades, and continuous improvement · Plan and manage release strategy, patching, and version upgrades · Ensure technical debt is tracked and addressed proactively · Maintain supportability and vendor coordination where applicable 5. Drive business and IT alignment · Translate business needs into platform capabilities · Partner with process owners, process consultants, technical product managers, architects, and delivery teams · Ensure platform changes support process transformation and operating model changes · Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders 6. Enable integration and data consistency · Ensure the platform fits into the enterprise ecosystem of applications and data · Define integration patterns, API strategy, and data flow principles · Support master/reference data alignment where relevant · Ensure interoperability across enterprise systems 7. Enforce governance, risk, and compliance · Ensure architecture meets security, privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements · Support controls for access, data usage, segregation of duties, and resiliency · Participate in risk assessments and architecture reviews · Ensure platform decisions comply with enterprise policies 8. Improve operational efficiency and user value · Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process optimization · Improve platform adoption, usability, and business outcomes · Leverage capabilities such as workflow automation, AI, analytics, and low-code where appropriate · Continuously measure platform performance and business impact 9. Manage stakeholders and influence decisions · Work with functional owners, IT leaders, EA teams, business teams, product vendors, and delivery partners · Communicate platform decisions, trade-offs, and roadmap priorities clearly · Build consensus across competing priorities · Influence enterprise standards and architecture direction 10. Oversee implementation partner and product strategy · Evaluate platform capabilities against business and architecture needs · Manage relationships with platform vendors and implementation partners · Influence product roadmap leveraging design partnership · Ensure licensing, support, and platform investment are optimized Mandatory Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) · A minimum of 9 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of technical experience implementing solutions in ServiceNow's product suite · ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Technical Architect · Extensive hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Now Platform and enterprise instance ownership · Proven experience with ServiceNow MCO, CSM, SPM, and Now Assist · Strong background in enterprise architecture and solution design · Experience with platform governance, lifecycle management, upgrades, and release management · Solid understanding of integrations, APIs, and data modelling · Experience managing business-critical platforms in a complex enterprise environment · Demonstrated ability to support workflow automation, process optimization, and digital transformation · Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and access controls · Proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and influence technical and business decisions · Experience working with AI-enabled capabilities, predictive intelligence, and low-code automation Desired Characteristics · Strategic thinker with a strong long-term platform vision · Deep understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem and enterprise workflows · Strong enterprise architecture mindset · Able to balance business needs with technical standards and platform sustainability · Decisive and comfortable making future-oriented technical trade-off decisions · Strong collaborator across business, IT and product vendor and implementation teams · Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills · Change-oriented, with experience driving transformation and adoption · Customer-focused and committed to improving user experience · Highly organized with strong ownership and accountability · Comfortable managing complexity across multiple modules, integrations, and dependencies · Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment · Continuous improvement mindset with focus on automation and simplification · Able to influence without direct authority · Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority and we take our responsibility seriously.
