As a Sales Manager in the Surgical Imaging field at Barco, you will have a crucial role in driving the commercial growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include expanding and professionalizing the reseller ecosystem, uncovering new business opportunities, and strengthening the market position of Barco's solutions. Your experience in the Medical, Surgical, and OR-Integration environment will be vital in engaging with clinical stakeholders, integrators, and specialized resellers with confidence in complex healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote and sell Barco solutions to end customers through an established and newly developed reseller network. - Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within defined markets and strategic accounts. - Build, structure, and expand a high-quality reseller ecosystem aligned with Barco's go-to-market strategy. - Consistently achieve personal sales targets while ensuring sustainable market penetration. - Recruit, onboard, and manage new resellers as their primary point of contact, including joint business planning, setting performance and investment objectives, and leading quarterly business reviews. - Activate and empower existing resellers in line with the target plan, in close collaboration with the designated Account Manager; take full ownership of partner support and related opportunities. - Provide expert commercial and technical guidance to partners to ensure correct product specification and strong solution positioning, particularly within Medical, Surgical, and OR-Integration environments. - Deliver proactive product training sessions and updates to selected channel partners. - Support lead generation initiatives through events, demonstrations, and on-site customer engagement. - Coordinate the effective distribution and follow-up of leads across the reseller network. - Strengthen Barco's brand presence and ensure consistent, positive market visibility within the region. - Follow up on end-customer leads originating from Business Development or consultants by assessing customer needs, preparing value-driven proposals, and delivering an excellent customer experience. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity data within the CRM system. - Provide reliable, consolidated monthly sell-in forecasts in alignment with Barco's forecasting methodology. - Track market dynamics and technological trends, proactively sharing insights with Sales Management and Segment Marketing. Required Education, Experience & Competencies:
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. - Experience: 57 years of proven sales experience within a relevant industry or technology environment. Demonstrated experience in Medical, Surgical, and OR-Integration is essential, enabling effective interaction with healthcare providers, integrators, and clinical decision-makers. - People skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with diverse customer stakeholders. Comfortable operating across organizational, cultural, and geographical boundaries. - Result orientation: Explicit hunter mentality with a strong drive to open doors and engage new contacts at multiple levels. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a natural talent for building and maintaining long-term relationships.
