AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. This is an on-site position requiring regular presence at AWS offices and customer locations to deliver hands-on technical engagement and build strong customer relationships. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. As a Solution Architect within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services including compute, storage, networking, database, analytics, application services, deployment, management, developer, mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, agentic AI solutions, security, hybrid and enterprise applications within Enterprise Accounts including retail, transportation, e-commerce industries and more. You will own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, with a strong focus on:
GenAI and Agentic AI adoption: Driving customer outcomes with generative AI solutions and intelligent automation Migration and Modernization: Leading datacenter exit strategies, VMware migrations, and cloud-native transformation initiatives Security and Resilience: Strengthening customer security posture and building resilient architectures Customer Expansion: Accelerating adoption through technical excellence and outcome-driven engagement The ideal candidate will develop deep expertise in AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how modern applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform, including containerization, serverless architectures, and AI/ML services. You will possess customer-facing skills that allow you to represent AWS well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables you to easily interact and give guidance to software developers, architects, and C-level executives on digital transformation strategies.
