Assistant Director of Development

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education/Job Experience/Certification

• 4–6 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. - Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills. - Experience managing events, grants, and donor communications. - Familiarity with fundraising databases and reporting. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail. - Professional, collaborative, and donor-centered mindset. - Demonstrated interest in and passion for the visual arts

Special Knowledge and Qualifications

• Proficient with donor databases, Ox-Bow utilizes Bloomerang
• Knowledge in and passion for contemporary art
• Ability to work independently and across project teams with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate contemporary art to diverse audience
• Highly organized and motivated
