How this role will be impactful The IT Systems Support Specialist is responsible for supporting all of the major software systems utilized by Farmer Focus and will be the first line of support for operational issues and training needs. The primary function is to become the subject matter expert for assigned software systems and be able to configure, troubleshoot, document, and train users on these systems. In addition, the IT Systems Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with the biannual system release updates testing and documentation. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Ticket Management: Document, log, work and track all support requests in a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution. Escalation: Escalate complex or unresolved issues up to the next appropriate level. System Data: Configuration, management, and analysis of system data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform testing of new system releases and all new software functions and processes to ensure functionality is working as needed. This includes documentation of all results and working with the development teams and/or vendors to get any issues fixed prior to turning over the software to the business for user acceptance testing. Documentation and maintenance of key processes in workflow formats and review of all processes as the business grows and changes. Perform training to the different users/groups whenever new software or software functions are deployed for the business. Reporting: Develop and manage system views, schedules, and alerts Compliance & Audits: Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory requirements and assist with internal/external audits Creation of business requirements that are needed for development of any new software functions and the ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements. Interaction with the internal corporate organizations to identify projects needed for their departments (Live Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing/Receiving, Warehouse Operations, Finance, Customer Service and Sales. Responsible for following, supporting, and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures. All other related duties as assigned by Management. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Finance Management (including AR, AP, GL) Inventory Management (including Purchasing, Receiving and Warehousing) Data Analytics and Reporting Bachelor of Business Administration, BBA, Finance or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of directly related experience and ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Experience with MS Office, excellent Excel skills, experience with Smartsheet Experience with Business Intelligence systems Must have good analytical skills, and strong written/communication skills. Other Requirements: Must be detail oriented, technical, and possess strong problem solving skills Must have fine hand and finger dexterity. Must have 20/20 corrected vision. Must possess color vision. Must be able to climb stairs to view processes. Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. Must be willing to participate on the audit team or safety committee. Must comply with all safety rules and instructions, participate in the Company training programs, and make every effort to learn, develop, and upgrade skills required for this job classification. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work conducted primarily in an office environment but will be required to access the production environment. Must be able to tolerate the varying heat, wet and chill of the plant. Hearing and eye-protective equipment required in the production area. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area.
