The Territory Manager is responsible for managing and growing sales within a defined geographic area. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships, and providing technical sales support. The Territory Manager leverages product and application knowledge to deliver tailored solutions, prepare quotations, and drive revenue growth while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. ## DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
Leverage technical product knowledge to recommend appropriate solutions and support customer applications
Prepare, review, and follow up on quotations and proposals using established sales processes
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory revenue and growth targets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and site visits
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activity
Generating and converting leads into long-term customer relationships through ongoing follow up
Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with internal teams (Inside Sales and Technical Support) to resolve customer issues and ensure timely responses
Deliver product presentations, Lunch & Learns, and customer visits to promote offerings
Maintain accurate CRM records, quotations, and sales activity tracking
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
College diploma in a related field
3-6 years of experience in technical sales or account management
Strong understanding of technical sales principles and territory management
Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and sales tracking tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast paced environment
Bilingual (English and French) (required for Quebec region)
Desirable:
Experience in industrial, mechanical, or technical product sales
