How will you make an impact & Requirement Role Mission As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless movement of shipments across the globe. You will be responsible for tracking and tracing parcels in transit, proactively identifying and resolving issues that could impact delivery to our customers. Using strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication, you will investigate and manage challenges such as carrier delays, customs clearance issues, and other logistical disruptions. By applying critical thinking and a solution-focused, persuasive approach, you will help ensure shipments reach their destinations efficiently and reliably. You will thrive in a high-performance, collaborative environment where teamwork is essential. Key Responsibilities Proactively track, monitor, and expedite global shipments, working closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to resolve delays and ensure on-time delivery Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely updates on shipment status, escalating issues, and gathering required information to minimise disruptions Accurately maintain shipment records within internal systems, ensuring all tracking details are up to date and Proof of Delivery documentation is recorded for audit and reference purposes Prepare and deliver accurate, timely reports to support customer requirements and wider business performance monitoring Verify shipment invoices against agreed rates or quotations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to ensure cost accuracy Maintain compliant electronic and manual filing systems for all dispatch documentation, ensuring adherence to HMRC audit and regulatory requirements Manage shared team mailboxes, ensuring all queries are handled promptly, categorised appropriately, and filed in line with internal processes Provide flexible administrative support to the Distribution & Warehousing team, including completing ad hoc tasks as required What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong combination of experience, organisation, and customer focus, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. Essential skills and experience: Proven experience in a customer-focused role, ideally within a fast-paced or operational environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders to drive timely resolutions Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage, prioritise, and accurately process a high volume of work Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently, take ownership and drive outcomes High attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality Ideally educated to a minimum of A‑level standard or equivalent experience Desirable (but not essential) Experience working in an international logistics or supply chain environment Understanding of shipping processes, including working with couriers and freight forwarders Relevant logistics or export-related qualifications Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong service delivery mindset Fluency in an additional language is a plus What We Offer At Resonant, we're more than a leading life sciences company,we're a global team united by a shared purpose: the uncompromising pursuit of quality to help our customers move science forward.
