This position is based in Bangalore. Our team validates the Use Case end-to-end solutions, which include data, voice, video services and applications on access network products. The successful candidate will contribute to test and validate Calix access network products as well as some 3rd party products and applications. Responsibilities and Duties: Develop, document, and execute verification of solutions test strategy and test plans individually and as part of a team. Perform regression testing on new software and hardware, scalability tests and evaluate compliance to specifications. Familiarity with automation is required Develop and execute tests to validate customer use cases. Write clear, concise, and understandable problem descriptions and test reports. Work closely with product development teams to understand testing requirements and provide feedback on the architecture and designs. Reproduce field issues and validate their resolution. Use traffic generators for video, data, and voice related testing. Capture and analyze data packets. Troubleshoot and debug issues. Required Qualifications: Calix requires all employees who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law. BSCS, BSSE, BSEE or equivalent. MS is Preferred. 5+ years of experience with data communications or telecommunications product testing in one or more of the following areas: L2 and L3 protocols, Voice, GPON, XGSPON, NGPON, Active Ethernet, TR-069, Netconf, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Be detail-oriented and proactively communicate status, issues, and support needs to appropriate manager(s). Strong verbal and written English skills.
