Designer - Primary

Key Responsibilities:

• Possessing clear knowledge of work procedures and the ability to work independently
• Delivering drawings to desired quality standards and according to mutually agreed timelines with the client
• Communicating confidently with clients or foreign counterparts
• Working in a team to deliver projects on time
• Attending meetings with technical leads
• Designing & BIM modeling of AIS/GIS Substation projects
• Performing Primary Design/modelling/drafting activities
• Resolving design/drafting issues and coordinating effectively with leads
• Planning, scheduling, conducting, and communicating work with team members
• Attending client meetings for technical clarifications
• Working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice
• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit/Inventor Substation modeling software, clash detection, NavisWorks, Revizto, etc. - Experienced in developing, implementing, and design automation project execution plans
• Capable of preparing a power point presentation or authoring technical memorandums and other documents
• Experience with Bentley ProjectWise, BIM360 is desirable

Qualifications Required:

• Diploma is preferable
• 2 to 16 years of experience in designing & BIM modeling of AIS/GIS Substation projects
• Knowledge of primary design (AIS & GIS Substation experience up to 400kV is desirable)
• Design & modeling of T & D systems up to 400kV for Utility companies based on international standards
• Good communication & IT skills
