As a Consulting Manager at our Manufacturing, logistics, Energy and utilities group, you will be responsible for leading a team of Consultants through client-facing engagements, managing escalations, and serving as the owner of a workstream. You will need to maintain expertise in the power utility domain, contribute to the sales process through RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and flawless delivery. Additionally, you will create service offerings, client partner training materials, and contribute to People Care initiatives, recruiting, and mentoring. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
8+ years of management consulting experience in the Utilities domain, with at least 2 years of technology team lead experience
Experience as an IT Analyst, IT Project Manager, IT Program Manager, IT Business Analysis, or Product Management in the Utilities domain
Prior experience supporting or leading cloud migration projects preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience using Jira or similar tools
Ability to thrive in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
Deep understanding of the Energy/Utility sector and data analytics
Capability to work effectively in a hybrid work model
Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry advancements
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop team members
Willingness to travel for business requirements

Establish a clear connection between business goals/strategies and capability development with clients
Define product/platform strategies and solutions in the Utilities domain
Define business requirements with stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications
Identify improvements in Utilities back-office operations by mapping business processes
Lead backlog creation, provide functional guidance during sprint planning, and gather functional requirements
Create detailed design documents outlining proposed solutions
Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks, ensuring requirements are clearly captured and refined in collaboration with product and development teams
Prepare functional use cases and detailed user stories
Review test plans, support UAT, and manage change requests/enhancements/features
Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on processes
Build and maintain relationships with technology teams, vendors, and business partners
