The position and your daily adventures
This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week. What you can expect:
Data-driven decision making: Use SQL, Python, and analytical frameworks on a daily basis to generate actionable insights focused on customer engagement, growth, and lifecycle behavior. - Experimentation and optimization: Design, execute, monitor, and interpret experiments across customer segments and communication channels, helping the team identify what works and iterate quickly. - Simple statistical and predictive modeling: Build practical models to estimate customer behavior, support targeting decisions, forecast outcomes, or improve campaign allocation strategies. - Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with CRM, Product, Credit, Data, and other teams to translate business questions into analyses, experiments, and clear recommendations. - KPI reporting and automation: Create, maintain, and improve dashboards, recurring analyses, and automated reporting processes for key business metrics. - Iterative refinement: Continuously monitor results, identify learnings, and propose next steps based on data, business context, and feedback from stakeholders and peers. What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or analytical field (e.g., Computational, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and modeling. - Solid analytical thinking: you can structure ambiguous problems, define relevant metrics, and turn data into clear business recommendations. - Interest in experimentation, customer behavior, growth, engagement, lifecycle marketing, or product analytics. - Strong ownership and project management skills: You can own projects end-to-end, manage multiple analyses, follow up on results, and proactively push initiatives forward to drive impact. - Comfortable wearing many hats and switching contexts quickly: from cleaning a dataset to presenting findings to leadership. - Proactive and business-oriented mindset: you enjoy asking why, challenging assumptions, and identifying opportunities through data. - Advanced English level
