As a skilled Forescout Network Security Engineer joining the cybersecurity team, your role will involve deploying, managing, and optimizing Forescout solutions to enhance network visibility and security across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and maintain Forescout CounterACT solutions in the network environment. - Monitor network devices and endpoints for security and compliance using Forescout. - Develop and enforce network access control policies based on organizational security standards. - Collaborate with network and security teams to integrate Forescout with existing security infrastructure. - Conduct regular audits and assessments of network devices and connected endpoints. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Forescout deployment and operations. - Maintain documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures. - Provide training and support to other team members on Forescout functionalities. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience with Forescout CounterACT or similar network access control solutions. - Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, VLANs, and switching/routing. - Knowledge of network security principles and best practices. - Experience with network device management and endpoint security. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CISSP, Forescout Certified Expert) are a plus.
