Northern Trust is seeking a Principal for business administration for the IT Infrastructure organization in India. This individual-contributor role reports to the Head of Infrastructure for APAC in India and the Global Practice Lead for Infrastructure administration and portfolio management. As the Principal, Tech Portfolio & Business Administration, you will be based in Pune and will play a crucial role in the APAC Infrastructure leadership team. **Role Overview**:
You will coordinate and execute capital planning for APAC, facilitate leadership meetings, oversee department projects and key initiatives, and coordinate department communications. More than 50% of your time will be spent on managing a substantial capital investment portfolio. Additionally, you will focus on ensuring effective and efficient execution of the APAC Infrastructure groups functions through support in planning and executing complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines. **Key Responsibilities**:
Manages and oversees the execution and coordination of APAC-owned components of global infrastructure capital plans
Partners with the Global head of Infrastructure capital planning to ensure accurate forecasts are maintained
Monitors time card reporting and participates in regional financial operating expense planning
Supports Infrastructure strategic planning and drives execution of transformation roadmaps
Partners with Infrastructure Vendor Governance to support oversight of performance of Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
Provides administrative guidance to internal staff, assists with escalation management, and tracks and drives recruiting on approved posts
Leads department recognition programs, supports talent management and succession planning efforts
Assists in developing and coordinating comprehensive internal department communication plans
**Qualifications**:
BS/BA degree in Business Administration or related disciplines or equivalent years of experience
Minimum of 15+ years and 8-10 years of related experience in finance, office management, organization Chief of Staff, Program Management, or working with third-party suppliers in a highly regulated industry
Proven transformation leadership experience in a complex environment
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to influence activities across multiple teams, and strong networking ability
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
