As a Maintenance Engineer, your role involves installing, testing, and ensuring proper functionality of new products. You will be responsible for developing process improvements to optimize equipment and material use, maximizing production efficiency. It is crucial to identify unsafe operations and report them to the Manager while establishing safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees. Your expertise in providing engineering support for production and maintenance will ensure maximum production efficiency. Additionally, you will perform maintenance tasks, offer customer support, diagnose product issues, and implement solutions for repairs. Writing service reports after diagnostics, responding to service requests, and traveling for on-site service as required are also part of your responsibilities. Developing best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability, as well as investigating problems, analyzing root causes, and deriving solutions, will be key tasks. Completing tasks assigned by the reporting manager is an integral part of your role. Qualifications Required:
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Turner (mandatory)
1 year of experience or apprenticeship experience in a relevant field
South Indian language proficiency or at least good English communication skills for effective communication with South India-based clients
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong skills in equipment installation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make decisions under pressure
